What is a Play Cafe?

We are the premier Play Café Early Childhood Program specializing in drop-off care and an open play forum. Each area is designed to target all areas of development.  Children learn best through play. We offer 7 learning areas allowing the children to learn through hands-on activities.

Interactive Learning

We spend an hour each day in our Learning Station called Tiny Ted Talk introducing weekly themes and lesson plans that reflect what the children will be learning and demonstrating throughout the week.

Enriching Activities

Our complimentary creative programs include Yoga, Spanish, baby signing, Stretch-n-Grow, Kid Zumba and anything else to make your child's early learning years memorable.

Within our care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. We aim to create an atmosphere that fosters cognitive and emotional development and most importantly Creativity.

Safe Environment

We prioritize student safety by establishing safety protocols and ensuring our kids are under reliable care. We conduct monthly fire and safety drills with our children to ensure our safety protocols are in place.

Delicious Meals

Rainbow Children Station provides Breakfast and Snack. We understand that some children are particular eaters and we want them to enjoy their lunch. 

Children are required to bring their lunch from home every day to ensure they eat the foods they love.

Expert Teachers

Our qualified teachers are dedicated to providing the best learning experience for your children.  Each teacher is mandated to attend 24 clock hours of training each calendar year. Each teacher is also First Aid/CPR certified.

Fun, hands-on activities that encourage problem solving and creativity.

Extra-curricular Activities/Field Trips

Our program provides opportunities where children can have the freedom to explore, create, and practice what they are learning.

We greet every child and parent upon entry to our program by name. We want the child to feel safe and that this is where they belong. We strive to bring out the creative nature hiding behind every child. We use play to do it.

When we started looking for daycares, we were told to look VERY carefully because they are not all that they seem to be. When we started fostering 3 small children, we were turned away from every other place we visited for various reasons. We accidentally walked in to what is now Rainbow Children's Station. Since then this place has become famILY. They have been with us on our foster journey since day 1 and have NEVER disappointed. The new facility is organized, roomy, fun, purposeful and inclusive. We love Rainbow Children's Station and would recommend it to anyone!
